West Tisbury Modern
Dramatic, angled roofs that sweep through from inside to out, huge south facing lift and slide doors, crisp vertical grain cabinetry, wide open, light-filled spaces: this mid-century modern is a stunner. Construction of the steel and wood frame with its complex geometry was a real challenge for both rough and finish carpenters. The guest wing and the master suite are separated from the main body of the house and have their own decks, creating real privacy on the serene pond-front site. An expanse of solar panels on the garage roof make this a net-zero home.
